1976 BMW 2002 Immaculate Original

1976 BMW 2002 - Highly Collectible, Immaculate Original Condition. Auto, Heater, Fans, Silver exterior (9/10), Two tone Blue interior in Fantastic condition (9/10). No rips, tears or wear on any of the seats. This Iconic 2002 was originally from San Francisco and has only been in Hawaii for less than a year. It has Strong History; was purchased new from retired President of Sumitomo Bank in San Francisco. He very meticulously maintained the car at certified BMW shops such as Beyond-2 in Burlingame. I actually purchased the car from beyond-2 owner Kwan when he shipped it to Oahu to use as a personal car.

This is a very rare opportunity to own the most Beautiful and Immaculate Classic BMW i've seen. I dont want to part with selling, but I am moving to the mainland. The BMW is turn-key and ready to run. I drive it daily for a few months, its great for getting around town. Body is straight as could be, and paint in fantastic shape! No Rust on the car, very solid, perfect floor pans, trunk pans and treated rockers. I recently changed out the front springs with Eibach 1" drop springs to level the car out. I also modified the front bumper brackets to flush up the bumper to the body rather than the traditional US battering ram. Two sets of keys, and a clean California title. only has 82k Miles! Original motor and driveline!

Update: To update up the motor a little bit, I did a dual Weber 40 carburetor DCOE conversion. This literally doubled the throttle response and power. I have been driving it with the Webers for over a month now. These are the very expensive and sought after Bologna, Italian carbs, not the new re-makes. The conversion was done by upgrading the fuel pump to electric, deleting the original cam driven one. Also, increasing the fuel line size to flow better, with a new filter. The throttle linkage was custom made using a cable style linkage with rotary motion, rather than direct linkage. This allows the motor to vibrate and move without effecting the throttle. The motor sounds very good! ITB

The car is currently Automatic, But i do have the Getrag 245 transmission with the conversion drive-shafts and all parts. I did order some of the converison parts of Ireland Engineering, and many other parts sourced over a long time. The extra parts include an extra M10 engine with near perfect compression, pedal box, shift box, extended clutch line, new master and slave for clutch, flywheel, clutch, many other parts. I do not have the time to keep working on this car since im trying to move.

No low ballers or tire-kickers! The NADA value of the car on the high side is $25k! I am asking Half of that at$12500
